    Assalamu Alaikum Aimen,

Thank you for highlighting the importance of planning and writing down from Quran. The sectioning of goals in different jars is a great idea. I wrote my goals on the workbook along with you. Hope I’ll be more productive and efficient In Shaa Allah and take actions towards those. Keep up your great work!

The thing that I learn from this lesson that big goals have to divide into mini-goals and tasks and then have to try to act upon it. And I was struggling with this. Now, I have got the solution, Alhamdulilah. May Allah accept your hard work and grant you a higher place in Jannah.

The thing that made me think a lot is the fact that Allah is the best of all planners. To strengthen my relationship with Allah, I shall embrace his perfect attribute and be a good planne myself.

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuh, jazak Allah khair, I feel like taking the time on planning and setting goals is worth it in’sha’Allah. I really enjoyed the input you shared regarding the Qur’an, and what I’ve also learnt is that concept of jars, that’s an amazing tip to find balance in life in’sha’Allah!
Looking forward to the next video in’sha’Allah! ๐Ÿ˜€

Walaikumassalam warahmatullahe wabarakatuhu Hana! Thank you for sharing what you learned from the video. I totally agree that taking your time to set goals properly and dig into them is worth is in the end. Saves a lot of time and misguided effort later down the road! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Assalamualaikum Aimen,
Thank you for these videos, they are really helpful. I am actually a goal dreamer and a goal avoider. I set goals all the time and keep on setting almost the same goals all over again every few months, and now I can see why. This system is great and thank you for spending so much time putting them together and share them with us.
I do have one question for you though. Do you reward yourself everytime you reach a goal? I mean, I realize that achieving the goal itself is a reward, but do you like, buy yourself something pretty or something? you know what I mean..

Walaikumassalam Sarah! You’re most welcome ๐Ÿ™‚ โค๏ธ I do actually reward myself after achieving my goals, yeah ๐Ÿ˜€ But it’s not always something grand/ fancy, my rewards are mostly spending time doing things I love and unplugging from everything including work. When I can’t do that, then I reward myself by eating out/ going out with friends or something like that. Basically, reward is not something you spend time thinking about. Best reward is doing what you feel like doing in that moment when you’ve completed your goal. ๐Ÿ™‚

Assalam o alaikum. Jazzak Allah u khayr for such a detailed, well planned and informative video. It is simply amazing. But I feel a bit worried now since it will take me to 2 to 3 days to commit myself to plan, think about mini goals and then split them into daily tasks. I believe it will be easy for me to finally achieve my goals inshaa Allah, ( once i seriously commit myself to work out a detailed plan).
I am just afraid of commitments-ones that require long-term sincere efforts. Hahaha.
    Jazzak Allah u khayr.

Walaikumassalam Jaweria! Waiyyaki! I totally get how scary it can be to commit to something long-term (no to mention overwhelming). But you don’t have to commit to something so lone-term to be honest. You can divide/ convert a long-term goal into a short-term goal. Then start with the short-term goals that’s for max. 1-3 months. And then once you’ve covered that shorter period successfully, you can always expand on it slowly until you’re on your way to getting through with the long-term goal! ๐Ÿ™‚

assalamualaykum dear Aimen, how are you doing?
you know I loveed both this and the first video and I found them too interesting and helpful, jazzaki allah khairen,
I want also to let you know that what surprised me the most in this video is that we should start by planing for the month firstly then go to the weeks and the days, I always start by planing for the day I’m in, and things go usualy wrong, but I wish this new concept would help in my future planing inchaallah,
thank you again Aimen, so much love from me.

Walaikumassalam dear! That’s so good to hear ๐Ÿ™‚ Alhamdulilah. Yes, if not monthly planning, then at least try and do weekly planning before you start the daily planning. It works much more effectively that way. You are most welcome Oumaima! I’m glad you learned something valuable!โค๏ธ

First of all I’d like to tell you that I started planning a year ago but what I learnt lately was planning in a daily basis what you “must” do and what you “should ” do ; that helped me to avoid the bad feelings abt not accomplishing my to do list ; I tried to set my goals using the idea of what’s important and what’s urgent but it didn’t work till I understood that I must plan what’s important than what’s urgent not the 4 categories together ; thank you so much; keep going you are doing a great job

Waiyyaki! That’s awesome to hear ๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah, it can feel like that sometimes. ๐Ÿ˜€ We tend to shift from being one type of goal-setter to another sometimes. But it’s good to know that you know exactly where the problems were! Alhamdulilah.

Thank you for the second video, it was very helpful. I am still not completely sold yet because I have never been a planner. Because I am just not really structured and I am very lazy.I will give it a try and I hope it wil help me!

Walaikumassalam Hajar! You’re most welcome ๐Ÿ™‚ Although I say you don’t have to be “obsessively organized” to be super-productive, I do believe some sort of “structure” is mandatory if you want to get to that next level of productivity (whatever that may be for you). So if this training helps you get started on planning, even if it’s just small baby steps, it’s a win to me :). And I’m lovin’ your mindset of “giving things you’ve never done a try”. Keep it up! โค๏ธ
